About

Two cities, one heart.

দুটো শহর, একটাই বুক।

KariKuri translates Bangladeshi cultural memory into refined, modern garments. It is the upmarket evolution of a heritage clothing project — same soul, posher execution. We are expensive-feeling not because we copy luxury, but because we belong to a particular world and era: jamdani and nakshi kantha, rickshaw art and indigo, the diaspora childhood made posh.

That world is worth the pride. Long before the world’s labels were sewn here, this was the land of the finest cloth ever woven — Dhaka muslin so light it was called woven air, indigo whole fleets crossed oceans for. We come from that. KariKuri is simply our way of wearing it.

We make for people who carry two places at once — who recognise a motif, a stitch, a line of Bangla, and feel seen by it. The clothes are quiet on purpose. The references do the talking.

The hands behind the cloth

The same hands that hold our memories make our clothes.

যে হাত আমাদের স্মৃতি ধরে রাখে, সেই হাতেই আমাদের পোশাক তৈরি।
